Located just off Route 9 under Cooper’s Cave Bridge between Glens Falls & South Glens Falls. Made famous by James Fenimore Cooper’s novel The Last of the Mohicans. Visit the hiding site of Hawkeye and his companions where they attempted their escape.

Located on scenic City Park, the Arts Council is home to one of New York State’s first and finest arts centers. As part of this complex, the Lapham Gallery displays fine art and craft created by regional artists and becomes a unique holiday shop & gift boutique from mid-November through the Christmas holidays. It also houses an ongoing gift shop featuring works of over 35 LARAC member artists. Of special note is their 165-booth juried June Fine Arts and Crafts Festival held annually the second full weekend of June.

Situated at the base of the beautiful Adirondack Mountains and conveniently located off exit 18 of the Northway, West Mountain provides winter fun for skiers, snowboards and tubers. West Mountain contain 32 trails ranging from green to black diamond and a professional Snow Sports school for instruction and camps. There is also a tubing park containing 5 chutes. The main lodge contains a cafeteria on the first floor and the East Slope Bar & Eatery, a full service restaurant, on the second floor. West Mountain Racing, West Mountain's competitive race team, also resides at the mountain.

The World Awareness Children's Museum offers families and children the opportunity to experience cultures from all over the world by trying on costumes, playing musical instruments and engaging in pretend play with authentic artifacts. The Museum's collection includes over 3,000 international artifacts and 6,000 pieces of international children's art from over 65 countries. The Museum's new building at 89 Warren Street is currently under renovation; however interactive exhibits and free family fun days are offered at venues through Glens Falls and outreach exchange programs.
